Updating the firmware in the ECU to the latest version. Many TDCi's (including mine) suffer from this warm/hot start issue and the general cure is a pcm update at a Ford dealer. All the dealer has to do is plug the diagnostic unit into the ODB port and flash the pcm, seems to cost between £30-£60, must get mine booked in. Steve H.
