Simply click on the controller icon on the right of the screen when SPEED2 is selected, under Quick Settings you'll see 'Right Trackpad Behavior', change this to 'As Mouse'. Then go into 'Edit Layout', then 'Trackpads', then change the 'Click' command to 'Mouse Middle Click'. Now you'll be able to use the right side of the trackpad to rotate

This has been everywhere this week. As far I can make out they have just confirmed that the PS4 is capable of PS2 emulation. I could be wrong but I think there is some Star Wars game out that makes use of the functionality already.
